Thaddeus Herliczek | Professional History
Dr. Herliczek graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed both his internship in Pediatrics and residency training in Radiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he served as Chief Resident in Radiology. He then completed fellowship training in pediatric radiology at Children’s Hospital in Boston where he served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Herliczek was an Associate Professor of Diagnostic Imaging, Clinician Educator at Brown University and served as the Director of Pediatric Radiology at Brown for more than 10 years.
Dr. Herliczek has received several teaching awards at Brown University including Teacher of the Year in the Dept. of Diagnostic Imaging, Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award twice and Positive Champion of the Learning Environment twice. Additionally, Dr. Herliczek has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” in RI Monthly magazine multiple times. Dr. Herliczek joined the staff of Boston Children's Hospital in February 2025 to pursue his chief interests, pediatric radiology, caring for children and teaching physicians of the future.
